Biography
Niki is a Toronto-based touring and recording musician, music teacher, and audio professional with a career rooted in both performance and education. She holds an Honours BA in Audio Production from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson) and brings a deep, practical understanding of music to every lesson.
As a teacher, Niki works with students in drums, piano, guitar, and music theory, with experience teaching Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) levels from beginner through Level 4. Her strongest areas are drums, piano, and music theory, and her approach emphasizes strong fundamentals, musical confidence, and helping students feel genuinely connected to what they’re playing.
Having studied with award-winning alumni of Berklee College of Music and UCLA, Niki brings that mentorship forward into a supportive, adaptable teaching style. She tailors lessons to each student’s goals—whether they’re learning for enjoyment, preparing for exams, or developing their own creative voice—while fostering curiosity, consistency, and long-term musical growth.
